Frequently asked questions
Common questions about how 3GPP Insight works, what it covers, and how teams use it.
What is 3GPP Insight?
3GPP Insight is a web-based AI assistant for 3GPP technical specifications. You ask questions in natural language and receive answers grounded in specification text, with clause-level citations you can verify.
How is this different from reading 3GPP PDFs or using a generic chatbot?
Generic chatbots may hallucinate or paraphrase without sources. 3GPP Insight retrieves and reasons over indexed 3GPP specification content and attaches references to the answer so you can check the underlying TS clauses.
Which 3GPP specifications can I ask about?
The indexed corpus includes all documents for Release 18, 19, and 20, e.g.: TS 22.071, TS 23.501, TS 24.379, TS 29.522, TS 36.101, TS 36.133, TS 36.521-1, TS 38.300, TS 38.523-1. Queries can target a specific release or compare releases (8–25); when no release is named, answers default to Release 19.
Do answers include citations?
Yes. Replies are designed to include specification references and clause-level citations so you can open the source material and validate the answer against the original text.
Can I compare procedures across multiple specifications?
Yes. A common use case is cross-spec comparison—for example UE registration in TS 23.501 versus procedures in TS 23.502, or RRC behavior in TS 38.331.
Is there a free tier?
Interactive access requires a paid subscription. See the pricing page for Individual and Team plans, including monthly query limits and optional overage packs.
Do you offer team plans?
Yes. Team plans include a shared query pool for up to six members. The team admin manages billing and can invite members separately.
